10x lossless zoom and 5G connectivity
Chinese smartphone maker Oppo announced at the MWC in Barcelona that it will release a camera device capable of zooming up to 10x without loss of quality. The phone in question will have a 48MP triple camera, 120-degree ultra-wide lenses and an optical sensor. Everything will work with three lenses that will cover a focal size of 16-160mm, less thick so as not to affect the size of the smartphone. It will also benefit from optical stabilization in two rooms.
The company has also announced its first smartphone in 5G. Shown a prototype with Snapdragon 855 to AX50 modem, which should arrive this year. The Find X 5G has already been launched in China last December. A month earlier, Oppo would test the connectivity in a group call lasting 17 minutes at 100Mhz.
The multimedia prospects for the new standard would be very broad. It starts from 360 degree direct to augmented reality shopping.
