Watch what you download from the Google Play Store
If you have an Android phone we advise you to pay close attention to what you download from the Google Play Store. In recent weeks, a spyware (virus) called Exodus has been circulating. This comes in the form of mobile operator apps, aiming to steal user and device data.
The apps involved are currently the following: Line Assistance, Special Offers, Personalized Phone Offers, Premium Telephone Services, Offers for You, Line Assistance, Italy Operator, Promo Offers, SIM Assistance and Phone Offers for you strong >. The list does not end here but other potentially dangerous apps are being reviewed by Google technicians.
What to do? First make sure you have never downloaded any of these apps. Otherwise, install an antivirus in the hope that it will be able to detect this type of threat. Alternatively, and we recommend it, you can use phone reset to factory settings . The reset should remove any data inside the smartphone and make you sleep soundly.
In any case, always keep a watchful eye on what you download and check the author of the applications on the store. Also Amazon at this time is having a lot of problems with fraudulent stores, so be careful before hitting the last bargain offer. Alerted user, medium saved.
